Your tasks on your calendar. Your meetings on your new tab.
Slaet connects to Google Calendar. Dated tasks show up next to your meetings, changes in either place stay in step, and today's meetings are waiting every time you open a tab.

Connect in a few seconds
Open Settings → Connections → Google Calendar and click Connect. Pick your Google account, approve access, and you're done. It works the same in the Chrome extension and the web app.
Slaet creates one new calendar in your Google account, called “Slaet”. Your tasks go there, kept apart from your other calendars, so you can show, hide, or recolor them like any other calendar.
Calendar sync needs a Slaet account, because the sync runs on our servers. If you're using Slaet without signing in, sign in first.
How tasks reach your calendar
Any task with a date lands on your Slaet calendar on its own. You don't need to do anything else.
- A due date with a time becomes an event at that time.
- A due date without a time becomes an all-day event.
- A task with only a reminder becomes an event at its earliest reminder.
- Edit the task (rename it, change its date) and the event updates within seconds.
- Complete, delete, or unschedule the task and its event is removed.
Tasks you already had when you connected are added straight away, so your calendar starts out complete.
Changes in Google come back
Sync works both ways. Change a task's event in Google Calendar and Slaet picks it up the next time you open a new tab:
- Drag the event to a new time or day and the task's due date (or reminder) moves with it.
- Rename the event and the task is renamed.
- Delete the event and the task is unscheduled. The task itself stays in Slaet.
Recurring and completed tasks are left alone, so moving one occurrence of a repeating task never moves the whole series.
Today's meetings on your new tab
With Calendar connected, your new tab shows the rest of today's meetings: what's next, how long until it starts, and one click to join the Google Meet. Need a call right now? New meeting opens a fresh Google Meet in the right account.
In the Chrome extension, you also get a notification five minutes before each meeting, with a Join button in it.
What Slaet can and can't see
Slaet can only change the “Slaet” calendar it created. It cannot edit or delete anything on your other calendars.
To show your meetings, Slaet reads today's events on your own calendar: the title, the times, and the meeting link. Meeting details aren't stored on our servers. They go straight to your device, which keeps them for the current day only. We never sell your data, use it for ads, or use it to train AI.
The full details are in our privacy policy.
Resync or disconnect anytime
If events go missing, for example because the Slaet calendar was deleted in Google, click Resync in Settings. Slaet rebuilds the calendar and rewrites every event.
Disconnect removes the Slaet calendar from Google and revokes Slaet's access. Your tasks stay exactly where they are.
Connect your calendar
Already using Slaet? Open Settings → Connections → Google Calendar. New here? Slaet is a free Chrome extension.
